2019 SESSIONS: 1st Session June 18–July 12 | 2nd Session July 15–August 9

ACTIVITIES & ELECTIVES

Swim Lessons

Who doesn’t like to swim in the summer? Whether your camper is new to swimming or wants to perfect his butterfly, we offer swimming instruction four times a week from a Red Cross certified teacher. Campers are given a swim test and placed in small groups based on ability to ensure safety in the water. Each swim lesson is followed by a free swim period.

Arts and Crafts

Campers will discover and develop their artistic side through our art program. Our stress-free art classes have campers working with a wide range of materials to make one-of-a-kind pieces of art, such as mosaics, lamps, stamp projects, jewelry, sculptures and more. Our campers love coming to art and sharing their masterpieces with their families!

Sports and Games

Let’s get moving! We offer a variety of age-appropriate, fun sports activities, including basketball, kickball, dodge ball, Greek-dodge, tennis baseball, relay races and soccer. We have use of a gymnasium as well as a turf field for these activities. Our focus is on participation and teamwork, and of course, having fun!

Musical Theatre

Musical theatre is a staple of Camp Bmore Kids! We want every camper to experience the excitement of performing in front of a live audience. Campers work with our award-winning teachers to put on a variety show for each session! Each camper will work on a song, dance and finale for the performance. This portion of our program offers a unique experience that builds confidence and cultivates a love of the performing arts.

Science

We want to help kids stay curious through our fun and engaging science program! When applicable we incorporate the STEM model into each camper’s science experience. This offers campers the opportunity to engage in teamwork and participate in the analysis and communication of information. In addition to regular science activities, we schedule a variety of special guest presenters to visit us and offer additional opportunities to explore the world around us.

Lunch and Snacks

Campers bring their own brown bag lunches to camp each day. They are refrigerated until their designated lunch time. Families are welcome to provide snacks, which their camper may retrieve from their book bags at any time of the day. Each afternoon, a special cold treat is provided by Camp Bmore Kids!

Electives

Campers who have completed Kindergarten through 6th grade will choose one elective to participate in each day during the camp session. Elective choices are:

  • Sports
  • Dance
  • Cheerleading
  • Arts & Crafts
  • Science
